Roccella

Roccella is a new hospitality group within the Australian restaurant market built upon 40 years of experience in crafting some of the country’s biggest food brands. The Roccella restaurant and brand focuses on creating a menu and experience that of Southern Italian cuisine and specifically the Roccella region of Italy.

Rhyme & Reason was tasked with bringing to life this brand positioning of Southern Italian cooking in visualising the identity and communication materials. Along with Butter Made agency, we designed an identity and visual language which brought together an old-world, regional look & feel with a DIY, neighbourhood aesthetic that appeals to the younger foodie market of Melbourne.

The logo, menu design and tone of voice, were all created to bring to life the unique positing of Roccella and stand-out from the crowd as an authentic Italian eatery.
